Here's how I set up KDE to automatically edit .iso files when I click on them. First, paste the following script into a text editor, name it mntiso and save it somewhere in your path, such as in the /bin or ~/bin directory:
#!/bin/sh dir=/mnt/iso mkdir $dir mount $1 $dir -t iso9660 -o loop,rw konqueror $dir umount $dir rmdir $dir
Now simply right-click on the .iso file and choose "open with..."
Type in kdesu mntiso in the box.
